Press release for my new show: Final Form showcases the artwork of Jym Davis, who also goes by the name False Face. The show includes outfits, masks, flags, and photographs from Jym's growing studio practice. The show's title Final Form, refers to Jym's recent interest in maximalist artistic presentation, a concept of transformation where each iteration increases in extravagance. His new work pulls from a variety of influences which include European folk festivals, medieval iconography, and science fiction.
Final Form will be on display from February 12th to 28th in the main hall at the Fincher Visual Arts Center on Reinhardt University's campus. You are invited to visit the show during normal operating hours (generally 9 - 6 pm).
